Lindback may play w/ Ads next season

Per this article on the Preds website, there's the possibility that Lindback will play with the Admirals next season.

From a Preds roster standpoint, today's signing of Anders Lindback probably doesn't change any plans for the NHL roster as Lindback will likely open the season in the AHL.

The article also discusses the fact the Predators also have Pickard and Smith under contract while Dekanich is an RFA.

Goalie Anders Lindback signed by Preds

Probably not going to affect much in Milwaukee, but worth noting that the Predators 2008 7th Round draft pick, goaltender Anders Lindback has been signed by the Preds for 3 years.

And in the unsubstantiated rumors department, I've heard rumblings of Robert Dietrich returning to Germany next season as he is an Restricted Free Agent this off-season. (edit, should I add an Eklund rating of E2?)

Lastly and sadly, former Admiral forward Michel Mongeau, 45, passed away from melanoma on May 22. He had 90 pts in 76 games with Admirals, and is best known for his time with rival Peoria Rivermen and NHL's St. Louis Blues. Link

Preds Sign Jani Lajunen To Entry-Level Contract

May not end up in Milwaukee next year, but worth noting.

Lajunen, 19 (6/16/90), spent his first full season in the Finnish Elite League with Espoo in 2009-10, tying for the team lead in plus/minus rating (+4) and posting 15 points (5g-9a) in 46 games. The 6-1, 184-pound two-way center also participated in his second consecutive World Junior Championship tournament in 2010, tying for third on Team Finland in points (1g-5a-6pts) and tying for second on the team in assists.

The Helsinki native was Nashville's sixth choice, 201st overall (seventh round), in 2008 Entry Draft.

Ads Equipment Sale Date Announced

The dates of June 2nd and 3rd (Times TBD) have been announced for the Milwaukee Admirals Equipment Sale. Up for sale will be some of last years jerseys (I was told by one player he was given the gray jersey by the team, so expect the white and blues for sale), along with skates, helmets, unused sticks and other merchandise.

Antti Pihlstrom in one of the few games that he played wearing the Admirals' blue alternate jersey. On a related note, the Ads are auctioning off this jersey (unsigned) HERE. Interestingly, the Ads original price on the jersey was $800, then $650. Apparently, it's not worth that much.
