Top 10: #1 Drumroll....

#1: Peter Mannino wins the #1 spot for all of the wrong reasons.

*Puck in net? Check.
*Waterbottle knocked of net? Check.
*Water splilled out of bottle? Check.

Robert Dietrich's first goal in the February 27th game provided a better image of Mannino missing the save than Dietrich shooting.

Top 10: #10 Chris Mueller

#10: This shot of Chris Mueller makes the list thanks to his Patrick Kane style use of his mouthguard and the snow spray from Peoria Rivermen defenseman Bryce Lampman's attempt to block the passing lane.

And if you have not noticed, I have lightened up on the Admirals updates of late. This is primarily due to the fact that there are two excellent Admirals sites for updates, the newly unveiled Admirals Roundtable from the makers of ASS (Admirals Shoft Shifts) and the venerable MilwaukeeHockey.com. There will still obviously be some Admirals undertones (due to my season tickets with the Ads) despite an attempted focus at the entire Western Conference of the AHL, but I feel these two blogs spend alot of time putting together the same critical info, and frankly, why re-hash it a third time?

Tomorrow starts the Top 10

Starting tomorrow to count down the start of the 2010/11 AHL season, I will be posting one photo each day that I consider one of the Ten Best from last year.

But today I'll kick it off with some photoshop magic for #11.

One thing I noticed towards the end of every warmup was that Max Noreau would set about 5 pucks on the blueline and practice taking slapshots. This shot was the blending of multiple shots taken during one of his attempts.
